Hi Gill, you need to speak with a few companies to get a feel for who you think you can gel with, have a look at www.iva.com for reviews of different companies and give a couple a ring

Also have a cruise around the forum, where many IP's post, and you can get a feel for how they work.

Hi and welcome.

Visit the link posted above and speak to one or two companies. You can go directly to an IP rather than a debt management company.

Choose a firm thats fair and listens to your situation.

DO NOT PAY ANY UPFRONT FEES!

Any decent firm wont ask for money you can't afford. Start by getting your I&E together. Thats a list of what you have as INCOME and also list all your EXPENSES on a monthly basis. The SURPLUS is thee likely amount your IP will ask for as a monthly contribution. Ensure that you are HAPPY that you can maintain the payment and that it is achievable.

Good Luck Paul

They come highly recommended.
