.... that there has been a noticeable number of threads from first time posters who haven't since replied, raising questions on topics that might be considered to be weaknesses of the IVA process?

Quite a few posted in the middle of last night and some this morning.

I'm just wondering whether someone is trying to make a point in a rather subtle way.

I don't mind answering the questions but the lack of replies is making me think that these posts aren't what they may first appear to be.

And if I am wrong apologies to the posters involved.

I agree with you both. I've noticed this has happened in the past as well. I enjoy answering people's questions (and hopefully helping them!) but I feel I am wasting my time when this sort of thing happens.

One thing is certain tho from the regular posters on this forum - we don't dish up garbage advice and if we make a mistake, we correct it.

Can someone with admin access not check the ip addresses and see if they are coming from the same location?

couple it's not as easy as that unfortunately, it’s very easy to mask your IP address or even change it every second if you wanted to

I doubt very much if they would be sending from the same location. If it is people wanting to stir up, then let them, we have nothing to hide. It just goes to show the integrity of those who do respond to the posts - we are here to support and not ear bash.

If these posters are linked the the "IVA Council" that will explain why no-one there has been available to take or the courtesy to return my phone call today! They must all be sleeping it off after their busy nightime activites.

Mr Swift - please have the decency to return my call, given the amount of my time you have wasted over the last two days after you kindly circulated my clients with your ridiculous letter.
