I don't dress up for Christmas, it's jeans for me as usual and if they don't like it they can go elsewhere! Bah humbug!

My parents will be collected on Christmas Eve and stay until the 27th. Daughter and boyfriend will be here until Christmas Day tea when they will go to his house.

I'm working on Boxing Day, so poor old hubby will have to cope with parents all day until I get home.

I like Hunt for Red October! It's better than a lot of the rubbish they put on over Christmas. Even Sky tends to be crap!

I don't dress up either - hubby does all the cooking, I just keep people entertained!

Thankfully Dave's sons and grandchildren don't live locally otherwise I'd be looking for somewhere else to spend Christmas!

I've been buying a few stamps from Morrisons and have 2 x £5.00 vouchers from buying their fuel put by. Presents now that is a grey area and one I'll sort a little nearer the time, so long as daughter (15) gets something that is my main concern.

Hi harry3033 welcome to the forum, yes i think it is natural to feel as you do and sorry if i am repeating what everyone has said, however the positive side of this is that you are doing something constructive to pay back your debts. Don't feel a failure, circumstances are such that these things happen and there are many many people like you and I. Once your IVA is up and running and you have got used to the amount that you are allowed to live on be safe in the knowledge that your bills are taken care of and food is on the table, you no longer have to worry about creditors etc. I know I felt like you did but the day I got my creditors meeting out of the way the feeling of relief was immense and I felt that a grey cloud had lifted off my head, I felt able then to hold my head up and say 'right I'm actually doing something positive now to repay some of my debts back' the sleepless nights went etc.

Good luck and take care, you will feel better soon.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
