Hello, I have already asked a question about getting an iva for my husband and i. If it is not possible income wise to get one together would it be possible to get one for myself only to help clear my debts. I have approx debts of 21k myself and have about £250 per month disposeable income of my own. I hope you can answer this. kind regards

All of your debts would have to be disclosed, including joint ones.

If your husband doesn't do an IVA, the creditors will still be after him for the amount outstanding on joint debts.

If that is the full extent of your debts (including joint ones) you would appear to have the makings of an IVA, but ought to take professional advice from an insolvency practitioner who will be able to advise you on all options available.
