Hey foxkay, welcome to the forum. Your well being comes first and if you do have to stop working there is always the option of going Bankrupt. X

You can go bankrupt at any time during your IVA, but increasingly I am being made aware that the Courts are refusing to grant bankruptcy orders to people in IVAs without a letter from their IP confirming the IVA is in default. I guess we have the antics of the IVA Council and others to thank for this.

Hi Foxykay,

I too have the same problem due to complications last year, but I am currently trying to make an offer of a Full and Final settlement in order to sort this rather than bankruptcy. Is there anyone that could help you make an offer of full and final settlemt - that may be an option.

Flozza x

If you miss the statutory three payments would this mean that you wouldn't need a letter? Presumably you would then automatically have a letter of default?

HI Mrs Skint,

Thank you for asking. Unfortunately my IP has said that one of my creditors wants more information, which I have provided. My IP has given them 24 hours, so tomorrow may be the day of knowing! I ma feeling very sick and worried about this and wonder why one creditor has asked.
