i'm looking into BR at the moment, i have negative equity so would probably be able to keep my house. i'm tied into my mortgage until jan 2008 (interest only, self cert mortgage with extortionate rate!), if i went for BR and presuming it went thru quite quickly, would I be able to remortgage in Jan? soz for so many questions today but my brain is working overtime as I really want to get this sorted before head explodes!!!!

Hi
No you would not as I believe that you have to be discharged before taking another mortgage. However you will normally be discharged after a year.
