I don't just believe it is the advice and selfless dedication on the forum but also the fair, unbiased and 'joined up thinking' that Mel and her team bring to the table. Even if you post a dumb question or answer she will always be diplomatic in her reply. Well done Mel, you are what we would all expect our IP's to strive to be.

Can only second what others have posted, I wasn't with her firm during my IVA but have benefited from Melanie's straightforward, unbiased and spot on advice on numerous occasions in the past. In fact I think Melanie answered more questions for me than my actual IP firm! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her company to anybody considering an IVA, and have indeed done so on other forums.

Thank you Melanie for your invaluable contribution to this forum.

I think it has all been said and i too wish that i'd found this forum and Melanie before i embarked on my IVA journey as you have to be one of the most humanistic and realistic IP's Melanie and a few of your professional colleagues should be taking notes. xxx
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

Couldn't agree more, wish I'd found this forum 6 years ago before I undoubtedly made the huge mistake I did!

Wanted to add my input to the Melanie G love-fest.
As a long term poster i am amazed at the hours Melanie spends on here offering sage advice, or just a listening ear.
Combine this with the demands of her day job and her efforts do deserve recognition, on this forum and elsewhere.
I'm not surprised that Tina says she gives the occasional wrist slap, as a 32 year marriage veteran with a welsh better half, i know my place.
Aucto Splendore Resurgo.
IVA accepted May 2007.
Extended by 12 months in lieu of equity March 2012.
F+F offer accepted May 2012.
C of C received August 2012.
IVA dropped off credit file 24th May 2013.

I'd like to add that I too wish I'd found this forum sooner. Mel's advice a couple of years ago about expenses gave me the strength & knowledge to fight my corner on expenses and we got the issue at that point resolved and our expenses increased or added in where necessary. I'm convinced that without the advice given, our IVA would have failed at that stage as we were desperately struggling. Thanks Mel and keep up the good work.
F&F approved May 13 - just awaiting Completion Certificate - moving to a new Debt Free life !!
