Hi,

This is the only thing I can find, an old thread from this forum as it turns out, http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source ... H_W_KIZIBg

I certainly would not touch them with a ten foot barge pole! Nobody should be paying that sort of money up fronf!

Hi Peter & welcome to the forum,

I have to agree with Jan - stay well away! You say you have already paid across 500, is there a cool off point where you can change your mind & get the money back.

The best place to look for a reputable firm is at www.iva.com where you can get a full listed of licensed IPs & reviews.
Pick 2-3 that you like the look of & give them all a ring for some free & impartial sound advice on your situation.
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Agreed - I would not have paid that sort of money upfront (I would like to have that sort of money!!!). I would echo the advise provided above. There are plenty of companies that do not ask for money upfront and for me that was a deal closer. The ideal thing about iva.com is you can see the ratings and get a good feel about the company before you even speak to them. Good luck - and try to get your £500 back if I were you.

There are reputable companies who will do all the initial legwork for you and pass you on to an IP - they don't charge anywhere near these extortionate fees.

Please don't pay anything else to them.
