Other than America, it has to be all inclusive for us now.

We do tend to choose locations where trips to other restaurants are nigh on impossible.

Once I've paid though, I like to know that I haven't got to worry about anything else.

I prefer self catering - I'm a picky eater and like to be able to do my own thing!

You would be spoilt for choice Skip! Even fussy eaters (and bear in mind that I have to watch what I eat now) would be ok.

On this subject, would an IVA allow for any money to be set aside to visit family abroad once per year? So a holiday in a sense but my situation is that my wife's family live in Russia - to not see them for 5 years would be inhumane... but would an IVA consider this any different from a holiday?

I wouldn't think so, but it would be something to discuss with an IP.

Again, I think you would have to try and save money from your monthly allowances.

One of the professionals will probably advise further.

I hope you can get to see your wife's family.

I'm with Skippy, a fussy eater, once I went to Turkey for a fortnight and lived off crisps for an evening meal and snacked all day. I didn't starve but didn't enjoy the food side, although there were no restaurants in that part of the town hence why we went all inclusive. Hubby had a whale of a time as he likes most foods.

Hi Ben, I would think you'd have to save the money from your allowances. Hope you do manage to go [:)]

I like trying local restaurants so all inclusive not for me...... great for families though, especially when there's young children.

One of my granddaughters told me today..."hey Nan, you want to go to New York, you can get a massage there"...apparently she saw it on a holiday programme. Ahhhh if only [8D][:D]

New York is a brilliant place, wouldn't want a massage there though! Much too busy seeing all the sights,

I never used to go down to the dining room after a couple of nights as I couldn't eat a thing and it was lovely food, just not my taste.

We will try anything. If I don't like it, I don't have it again.

We're not really fussy though.
