I am currenty coming up to the second year in my IVA. I am currently sharing a property with my sister and a friend and the rent is £480 between the 3 of us. Due to a change in all our circumstances we are all moving out, I am looking to move into accommodation on my own within 3 miles of the same area. When we first moved in to this property 4 years ago we had a good deal and I am now looking at properties for myself and i have said to my IVA company that I estimate rent to be £450 and my bills to be £250 per month. This move also conicides with my new job which is around £7000 more per year than when i started my IVA nearly 2 years ago.

I have written a letter to my IVA managers stating that i will contiue to pay the same amount into my IVA as even though I will be on more money this extra income is negated by my change in circumstances and the extra cost of living on my own. Could you just give me any advice or information on whether this is an acceptable proposal by myself. Thanks
Thanks

Hey c66, welcome to the forum. An expert will be along shortly to advise you, I'm not an expert but I would think that that would be acceptable. Viki X
