hi been sent letter and phone call from ivac saying to stop my payments on current iva because they say i've been mis sold it i live in rented housing and have no assets they want me to pay them £1000 to get me debt free is this to good to be true and is it a con.

Hi neil and welcome to the forum

If you are happy with your IVA, and do not feel that you were pressurised to propose it as opposed to other options available to you at the time, the letter is probably too good to be true as all this company want to do is to assist you into bankruptcy.
