Whoops - I am sure if Tony is charging a fee, there is a valid reason for it.

Mike

Thanks for the nice words, no mate I am not charging a fee. If this is the lady I emailed yesterday name witheld for obvious reasons I told her the cheque amount , who it was payable to, who are in fact the packagers and the reason why i.e. to get the property valued. Email could be re-sent if she didn`t quite understand. I always try to get anyone I work for a free valuation if possible and if not the case have been paying them myself, as I mentioned to you last night I have been let down by some posters on here who have allowed me to pay the val fee driven to see them and then they change their minds or go elsewhere in many instances costing me over £300 for the pleasure of having driven to see them. Out of principle I will no longer pay up front fees for anyone if I can`t get them a free valuation. Remember what I said about a little bit of information being a dangerous thing.Tony

Hi

Just to agree with OPTIMIST12, I sent my husbands, Pay Slips, P60 and 3 x bank Statements to our IP through the regular post and they didn't receive it. Nor did they receive the further 3 x Bank Statements.

Not sure if it was down to them or Royal Mail. Needless to say my annual review went ahead anyway and my IVA payments for next year will remain the same - Happy Days

Tony yes it was me, the email did state for valuation purposes. Sorry for any confusion. My head is all over at the minute and I've just had another bombshell, my guesstimate for my house valuation was £150k, estate agents say no it's £190k, now I should be jumping with joy as we're not insolvent any longer, why do I feel totally confused and numb? Iva out of the window I realise but still doesn't give me any more income does it? I don't know if to laugh or cry!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

so cant you re-mortage...raise the extra from the equity...settle all debts and then wouldnt that leave you 1) debt free and 2) more money each month. Yes you would have a bigger mortgage, same as us now but no where near what we used to have to try and find when paying just the minimum monthly payments on the debts.

Is it your income thats the problem now with regards to getting a mortgage for enough to do the remortgage..?

Angie xx

I would think our income would be the problem but after as many errors as I've made with under estimating things, I'm not going to believe myself until I've been told by a mortgage broker. I am getting another valuation tomorrow to make sure the 1st one is correct.! x
