I have just taken my partner to the hospital tonight, for those of you that dont know she is 31 weeks pregnant with twins.

We went in because she had pains, but luckily she is ok, they have kept her in and all been well she can come home in the morning.

But what amazies me, is that cause its twins etc etc we have to go to hospitial every two weeks, parking costs £2.00 on average, then when your their you have a couple of coffess etc, and over a period of time it all adds up.

I know from a prevoius post I have done Melaine explained whay i would be allowed in my I and E for two babies/children, but thats only when they are born, their seems to be no leway for what you have to buy before they are born, such as things things i have mentioned, plus baby clothes prams, etc, luckily friends and family have helped out and we have bought second hand, and i have had a wage rise, but even so its not covered, i have even missed meals to pay for the extra.

Having said all this my main priority is the twins but the second is my IVA, hopefully i will manage with my new pay rise, if the creditors dont take it of me at the annual review, but like wise i dont want to reduce my payment.

Since 1st January i have lived of £40.00, £20 i had, and £20 my friend lent me, i have £4.00 left but get paid on Monday.

God its hard but only 48 months to go

no matter how bad money gets, theirs stll alot more important things in life

Hi
But after your IVA has finished you'll feel so well off,so used to spending carefully and totally rehabilitated that you'll never look back.

hi andy

I think you got that spont on - rehabilited - after one year i have done so in another 4 years time completeley rehabilted in my spending habits. Luckily while my twins are young they wont notice anthing, but when i come out of it they will be 4 years old, i imagine this is the age when they start asking for things for christmas and birthdays and i will be able to treat them.

Ansy - do you still watch your money and are very carefull after been in iva? do you do doi and think differently before th iva?

Hi
I'm paranoid about paying bills on time now.I have internet banking and know what I've got and what's due to be paid.I don't want material things anymore[drive a 15 year old car as oppossed to a new leased Merc in the debt days]
Don't get me wrong I'm not tight, just spend what I've got on keeping afloat and holidays etc[posting from Florida as we speak!!]
Just never want to get in that position again and maybe if life in an IVA was easy I would not be so careful.

Andy have a lovely holiday. I thought you were on rather late for you, my favorite place only went once in 1987 for my mums retirement. Dont come on here, you go have fun.

James, I think it is dreadful to have to pay to go to hospital, I know you have to when your wife is with you but if visiting park out of the grounds if you can and walk that bit extra. My hospital it is cheaper believe it or not to get the train than to park for an hour. All the very best I am getting excited to hear about the twins arrival, gawd knows how you are feeling, it will be wonderful. Make her put her feet up when she gets home as I am sure you will, not long now.
