Hi there.

I've just issued a claim against currys as the fridge freezer i bought 2 years ago has so many faults.

If sucsessful, they will have to pay me directly, and then the money will need to be used for a new fridge freezer and to replace nearly £200 worth of food spoilage.

Do I need to let my IP know about this?

Sorry, i'm having a mental block today. What I mean is I've started small claims court proceedings against them.
So, if the claim is sucsessful, can I buy a new fridge freezer of my choice with the money or do I have to look in the paper for a cheap secondhand one?
Thanks

I would think you could use the money to replace the goods, but one of the technical experts will know for definite.

I would let them know, but of course the money you receive must be used to purchase a replacement item.
