Well done James. My six months seems to have gone quickly as well.

Hi - we're not too far behind you. 19 payments made. I would say everything was fine until major car problems of late. That has been testing trying to keep positive, but when you think its almots 1/3 of the way, it gives you motivitation to keep going.

Looking forward to finishing but hate wishing our lives away. xx

Hey it's a great feeling isn't!! I've made 23 payments and the time has flown in. Is there anyone on this site who is on say there last year of IVA payments? That would definitely be seeing light at the end of the tunnel!
Last payment made on 1st Nov 2011. Happy to be debt free!

We are nearly half way through too. This third year seems to be going quicker than the first two, hope this continues for the last two.
We have had a few problems so far, the main one being my husband having to give up work due to ill health. We have managed to maintain payments so far with my overtime and a few cutbacks. At least I don't have to do much housework now he's at home!

Hi Melaine

The IP as called a creditors meeting this friday 10th October, they firstly have to vote to amend my IVA to remove the 24 month clause, and if they agree to this then vote for the F and F, which will give each creditor 44p to the £ instead of 47p as per the original agreement. Very nervous, but got my fingers crossed that i get a phone call on Friday saying everything got accepted, i think Friday will be a long day for me.
