To any one thinking there IVA is hard, it is worth it.
If it was not for my IVA,
I could not have help my sons out this month to get his car insured or the other one with the deposit to rent a house.
Yes the boys missed out on some thing during the IVA but it was worth it.
IVA now over with and it was worth it.
now starting my life again,

Great post kev and I hope people who are hovering get to read it.

It was the best thing for us as well.

I totally agree. I have many blog entries concerned about the effects of an iva on our child but it's taught him to work hard to get rewarded and he really is appreciative when we do surprise him with things.

We are now debt free, apart from a mortgage, thanks to an iva. We would probably still have been paying a dmp. It's a really tough journey but the destination is worth it!

Definitely. Best thing I ever did, even though I had a bit of good luck in getting mine completed 2 and a half years early. Now I can look forward to the future, and I've also learnt a valuable lesson. Just initially talking about it with an IVA company is like a weight off your shoulders, and when it's accepted, the amount of stress that gets lifted off you is unbelievable. It's hard going sometimes, sure, but for 5 years out of your life it's worth it. It's probably added ten years to my life just with the stress relief!

Great post Kev, I couldn't agree with you more.

Even though we ended ours early, the iva was still the best solution for us and taught us so much about managing money and budgeting.

Full & Final submitted and accepted 30th March 2015, paid 10th April 2015 - 3 yrs 1 month into IVA :)

I have to agree mine completed at Christmas and although it was a long 5 and a half years it was the best thing I ever did. I think it helps to have a good Iva company behind you
