I STILL can't believe it to be honest.

I said to the woman at Grant Thornton that i might call back every month just to say hello as it will be weird not calling them anymore (cos i had to pay by debit card)

:o)

I think those completing an IVA should not only get a completion certificate but a medal from the Queen!!!

Well done animaleyes.

It's a tough journey no doubt and one that will have hopefully rehabilitated our spending. (it will have mine). x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Funny thing is, today I've just been offered a credit card by my Czech Bank can you believe it? Are they mind readers or what?

It can wait until after the completion certificate in any case. If i take it i'll do the same as I would in the UK, paying in full , creating a credit history etc

I might want to buy a house over here next year and a bit of credit history would probably be very helpful.

Either way, i've learnt my lesson, no mistake. NEVER am I being tied up in a mire of debt again.

Congratulations on reaching the end of the IVA and for the post. My wife and I have just started on an IVA and it is good to be able to read how others have got on, as at the min the end seems like a very small light at the end of a very long tunnel and reading how well you have done lightens it a bit.

Well done again :)
