Good luck Mikey for your meeting, I'm enjoying the budgeting at the minute but it's very new to me (approved Feb 8th). I find great joy in saving on my shopping on a Saturday how sad is that? I'm like a child if I've got x amount left and put it in a tin to use for a treat in June when I've a couple of days booked to go away.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Thanks

Must admit im the same, sort of been living on a budget for the last two months, when I finally took my head out of the sand and did something about my situation.

I take great joy in picking up bargins for the "offers" section at the supermarket, plus getting best deals on mobile phones, internet, insurance etc really can save you lots of money each month!

This is probably sad but if id done more of it in the past then i might not be where I am now

Wishing everybody who's in an IVA or worrying about a pending creditors meeting all the best!!!

Good luck Mikey ... like you I find a great sense of satisfaction in finding a bargain and, indeed, not spending any more money than I really have to. I feel quite annoyed if I have to buy a new piece of clothing rather than find something from the charity shop. Indeed, I've become mean!

Fingers, toes and everything crossed for you [:)]

I hope it all goes smoothly for you. We have ours next week (14th). We know exactly how you are feeling. Good Luck !!

Good Luck!

My IVA was approved back in Nov 06. We use internet banking (with the co-op cashminder account) and a simple spreadsheet to monitor our budget. This works excellently as you always know (financially) where you are and where you're going to be :-)

regards

David
