Today I finally received my Certificate of Completion from my IP, it's 6 months late but it's finally finished! To all of you still in an IVA, KEEP GOING! To all of you thinking about an IVA, think VERY VERY Carefully, before you commit to it!

To all the Experts on this Website, a heartfelt THANK YOU, for all your words of wisdom!

s_b - why would you say to think very carefully about it? Did you have a bad experience?

Even if an iva was completed without hiccups it should not be entered into lightly so the advice is sound. Well done on completing the iva. I really think medals should be awarded!!!

Hi Kazzafunk, If I had to do this again (God Forbid) Knowing what I do now, I'd go Bankrupt! 5 Years of struggling with the payments nearly pushed me over the edge! Failed Marriage, Lost the Home, Serious Heart Attack and Major Surgery! I know you can't plan for everything but people really need to understand how very difficult 5 Years of payments can actually be!

I can see why you feel the way you do and I do agree that it shouldn't be entered into lightly and you should research it thoroughly.

I hope everything works out for you now s_b - you've certainly suffered but you've come out the other side and can hold your head up high.

Well done. I'm waiting for my cert!
Getting the F&F accepted was a great feeling but I will be celebrating the cert. Can't wait to get it. To get off the register too!!
IVAs are great I'd suggest them to anyone with debt beyond control. It's not the only way but paying 15p in the pound (what I paid) cannot be sniffed at :-)

Mel thankyou! that would be brilliant! without your help we'd have been on the way to having the house reposed by now!

i know the F&F is done but getting this next type of letters has upset me. i haven't looked but we must be on the insolvency register now - i just want to get off asap - as we all do!

once again,thankyou x
