Its over ! Im pleased to announce i had our completion certificate emailed to me today ! Copy also in the post . Im so relieved :) . We started our iva in January 2016 and after coming clean to my parents in February this year they offered us a lump sum for a full and final . We put this forward at the end of febuary and had our variation meeting on the 20th april. After a stern word yesterday to our iva company harrington brooks it was done today and emailed to me this afternoon. I still cant quite believe it but the feeling of not having to report every detail of my spending and the worry of if they say i have spent too much on shopping is amazing. I most definitely will not be going down that path again . But a huge thank you to all the advice from everyone here on the forum its been invaluable. 🌟

Really pleased it has worked out for you .... parents are wonderful things and although no doubt a little cross they are supportive ! I had the same with my mum ... support all the way once I plucked up the courage to tell her.
Enjoy your debt free life - remember it will remain on your record, but show as completed, for six years from the start date ... however the completion certificate will support things should you seek a mortgage etc in this time.
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
