Well my Creditors meeting went ahead today.....only I STILL don't know the full outcome! The long and short of it is that my IP sent out another copy of my variation report and scheduled another meeting for 19th October. This was an error on THEIR part so they informed me today. Basically, the creditors that voted today, voted in favour of my offer and it would have all been accepted had my IP not made this error.
They said they could not cancel the 2nd meeting, as the notice had been circulated to all creditors, and in case those that did not vote today choose to vote on 19th October instead.
I feel soooo frustrated as this is not my fault - it is purely down to an admin error made my my IP!! The creditors had 28 days notice of the meeting that was set today and should have therefore voted (or not) today.
Now I'm left waiting for yet another month before I get an outcome! I don't think this is fair at all, although they said that the votes that were a 'YES' today will still stand at the 2nd meeting on 19th Oct.
What is the Expert's opinion on this please? I'm keen to know if this has happened to anyone else?....
Vicki that is soooo bad! I've not heard of this before, and I think it is awful that you have to wait another month before knowing for definite.
I hope one of the experts can come back with some advice.

Good luck Viki - I am sure it will all be sorted this time next month.
I really feel for you.

I'd be interested to know what Melanie thinks....are they spinning me a line telling me they can't cancel the meeting that they wrongly scheduled?! I wouldn't mind but they only sent the notice out yesterday! I checked the post mark on the envelope - the letter itself was dated 16th Sept so lord knows what it'd been doing sitting around until yesterday!
I hope Mel picks up on this Vicki - I haven't got a clue.

I have no idea why your IP has decided to call another meeting - as any error they had made could easily have been drawn to creditors attention at the first meeting and put right. Can you find our more information about the error please, when it was first spotted and what impact it would have had on the outcome of the first meeting,
Thanks Mel for picking up on my post. I'm going to speak to my IP tomorrow, but from what i was told yesterday, the 2nd meeting notice was sent out the day before the meeting which took place yesterday. Only 1 creditor out of my 5 showed up and voted in my favour. This would have been accepted had this other meeting not been set up as now I have to wait in case the others want to come forward!
