Hi all, Just to let u know Ive now paid my first payment to the iva!only 71 more to go. If friends or family lent me some money say three years into my IVA, for instance £25,000 and I already had paid £18,000 in my IVA could I offer a final payment of £25,000. This would be £6,000 over the 46p in the pound which was in my IVA agreement. Any advice would be appreciated

Hi Chegs.
I think that could well be a possibility.

Well done making your first payment, you will be amazed at how quickly they fly by.

There is no harm in making an offer of full and final settlement - these sort of suggestions are usually warmly received by creditors.
