Hiya Gang, First time poster but long time user of the site.
First of all I would like to say a big thanks to EVERYONE who posts in this forum. I know from experience what a help it is for people who are considering IVA's etc.
My story is quite simple really,we had a pretty good credit rating but started to struggle towards the end of last year. We never actually missed any payments to creditors at this point, but we got to a point when we were robbing Peter to pay Paul! We then new we had to do something. I then stumbled across this amazing site and read posts from people in similar situations to us. We then contacted the advice bureaux and had a conversation with Melanie. From that moment I knew we were in good hands. A quite tough three months followed having missed payments and having to deal with those calls. But we keep in constant contact with Melanies team throughout....and today was our creditors meeting at 10am....and really tense hour passed, then at 11 o'clock the phone rings and a lovely bloke named Hywel rings me to inform me our proposal had been accepted!! Shame im in work tonight, will have to wait till the weekend to celebrate..THANKS AGAIN!

Congratulations, and enjoy your celebration at the weekend!

I've got to ask - does the WBA in your name refer to your football team?

Another great success story, for people who were sincere about wanting to repay their creditors to the best of their ability, and who worked hard with us to achieve the end result.

Very well done - and we are all so glad to see how pleased you both are.

Many Thanks for the support Fergie and debtmountain..... Just have one small thing to sort out on our proposal, then we can send it back to Melanie, and then the creditors meeting... fingers and everything else crossed for that,. cannot cope with the stress at the moment though...
