So pleased to find out yesterday that our IVA has been accepted! After a very stressful year involving handing our house keys back to our mortgage company (due to 1st plus not allowing us to sell our home and resulting in a further £20k added onto our debt!) We can now finally move on. With 2 young children and now on a strict budget, i will certainly be visiting the forum for some money saving ideas and its so nice to have somewhere to share my thoughts as we haven't really discussed the IVA with firends & family.

Great news Anna - you can start to look forward now. Yes this forum is a great place to get savings advice! You could have a read of some of the blogs and maybe start your own as I found it very therapeutic doing mine.

Hi Anna, nice to see you.

Congratulations on having your IVA accepted - you're on your way to debt freedom!! Sounds as though First Plus may have shot themselves in the foot with not allowing you to sell!!

The forum is a great place for advice and support and just to let off steam sometimes. We have a good social side as well.
