Great news FF, I could never have afforded that much of an increase [:0](mine was an extra £40 which I could afford) but if its affordable to you thats great [:D]
You are now on your way to a debt free future[:)]

Usual mods such as property valuation after week 54 with view to equity release etc.
As was earlier posted I was asked for an increase of £115 pm which I know sounds a lot, but I have enough leeway in my monthly expenditure to be able to afford it. There are some of you, I know, who would not and this has opened up a whole new debate which Im sure will rumble on...however, I am happy that I am finally able to look forward without the fear of debt for the first time in years

Not me FF, maths was never one of my strong points, that's partly why I'm here I think!!!

Well done again though .... do you know whether the fees were modified down?... Our two proposals came with a fee of 11.5k, which seemed reasonable at the time but expensivish in retrospect...

According to my calculations -

Total owing to Creditors (as listed above) = 163090

Total increase in contributions (based on initial contribution only) = 115 x 60 = 6900

6900 = 4.23% of total debt figure.

Therefore - Frequent Flyers dividend will increase initially from 40% to 44.23% (subject to any further increases at Annual Reviews etc).

(These figures exclude any equity release in Year 4 of course).

A big increase - but if F/F is O.K. with it then thats fair enough. I admire Frequent Flyers positive stance - vital to enter an IVA with the absolute will that you ARE going to see it through successfully.

I think the TIX boys would have imposed a minimun diviend secured by the extra 115pm. As they are in control of the majority debt,they would not have wavied.

On another point raised by F/Fs case - great to see all the Creditors (except one) lodging claims befre the meeting. If F/F DOES have a Minimum Dividend modification he will know from the off exactly what the total required is to meet the Minimum Dividend - as he knows exactly what all the formal claims are.

Do TIX have a minimum dividend ?? alot of my creditors come under the TIX arm. So do they generally take each proposal on its own merits.

TIX take their voting instructions from the creditors and it is the individual creditor themselves who set a hurdle rate if they so choose to have one.
