Hi Everyone

Despite my IVA being approved by over 75% of my creditors on 28 Jan 08, I am still receiving letters/phone calls from a Company EOS on behalf of Freemans Plc (I owe just over £220). I explained to them my IVA was approved. However, Freemans did not bother to vote on the day. I have sent letters to my IP - is there anything else I need to do as it has caused me concern. Thanks

j.k. -

I kept receiving correspondence from Creditors for about a month after my IVA was accepted (statements, letters, and default notices). I used to phone the sender each time I received a letter and explain that my IVA had been accepted. I would have thought that if you have spoken with the Creditor or their agents, and notified your IP, then you have done everything you can.
47 months completed - 13 months to go.

Hi Everyone,

I have had my IVA agreement ongoing for a couple of months - 1st payment Feb 08 with Wilson Phillips and all seems to be going well. May I ask at annual review meeting do I need to keep all my bank statements from Feb 08 plus all pay slips.

Secondly, the following has been agreed on my IVA:

£50 contingency
£30 clothing
£20 dental/optician

Total of above £100 per month

Can I automatically transfer this amount of £100 only every month in my savings account to use when needed for these three. Paying all my other expenditure i.e. rent, council tax etc. from my basic account as normal.

Your help would be much appreciated.

J.K

Hi j.k Yes you can transfer this money into your savings account. Every company is different. I have to send payslips every 3 months to my IP, so they can check overtime. Then at review time, i only have to send last 3 bank statements. Better asking your own IP, what you will need to send in x

Hi Everyone

My first annual review is due Jan/Feb 2009 on my IVA. However, I have received a "one-off" bonus of £500 (after tax) plus my monthly salary increased from Feb this year by an extra £30 a month. Should I declare both of these now or wait until my review.

Would appreciate any help. For your information, I have put away in my savings account around £300 to cover on the bonus for review.

Thanks

J.K.

There is no harm in declaring these items to your IP now, and if you have the money available I would personally pay it over for peace of mind.
