I had my IVA accepted with GT on Monday. I am so relieved. Only 4 out of 13 creditors voted but that was enough. 30p in the £. Thanks for all the advice leading up to this and will be logging on for help througout the next stage of my life, debt free and budgeting for the first time! My only one concern is all this talk about mortgages being difficult to get. I have a new deal for 5 years but am scared that Bristol & West might adhere to their regulations about demanding full payment if you are in an IVA. Does anyone have any thoughts about this. Don't want to start worrying again but can't help it. Thanks

That's so unlikely Jellybean - I have actually never seen it enforced, so do not worry and good luck with the IVA.

Good news your IVA was accepted and all the best towards your debt free future.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
