Goodluck for tomorrow Sarah, just remember at the end of the day you have done your best if the creditors can't see this then more fool them.
As you rightly say you are not prepared to let your children and why should you.

Sorry bout that bit trigger happy on the mouse what i was trying to say was you are not prepared to let your children suffer and why should you.
I hope you will be able to keep your house if you go BR,that will be one in the eye for your creditors, after you have offered to pay back as much as you can they will get nothing it just seems so unjust that you try your best and still get nowhere.
As i said i really do hope things will pan out for you.

Tracy x

Silly thing is i have been paying into a DMP for the last 18 months just to keep the wolfs from the door so to speak. Until i could get enough courage to deal with my debt properly and in a way that would rid me of it.my DMP payments over the last 18 months have been no where near as much as ive offered in the iva, not quite sure what these creditors are on but i see my iva as an attractive proposition against DMP or ultimately Bankruptcy,

Hi Sarah
Hope you get good news but please make sure you can afford the £50 will you manage to feed you and the children on £50 a month less than you budgeted for.
5 years is a long time to struggle if the iva payments are not realistic.
Good luck, let us know how you get on x

Am today a really happy bunny! MY IVA HAS TODAY BEEN ACCEPTED!!!!!! woohoooo pleased as punch. Just goes to show i stood my ground and got what i wanted in the end. Thank you so much to EVERYONE for their love and support throughout what has been a hellish time. Am still in shock and am sure it will take time to sink in. FEELING ON TOP OF THE WORLD XXXXXX

Can someone please give me the benefit of their experience on how to budget and handle money whilst in an IVA.

To everyone that is either waiting for their IVA to be accepted or not sure what way to turn. I promise things can be sorted out with a bit of perseverence...Never give up xxx
