Just wanted to say how wonderful the IVA Advice Bureau have been and to recommend them to anyone seeking any debt advice. I was initially going for an IVA and got the stage wher the creditors meeting was only a few days away when I was having toughts that maybe I should have gone for bankruptcy. I spoke to Melanie Giles via phone on New Years Eve and she arranged for me to go into the office for a chat to discuss my concerns with Susan Clay on the Monday. As a result of that chat and despite of the fact that we were so far into the IVA process I decided to go for bankruptcy and have a date set for the 21st Jan. There were absolutely no recriminations despite the fact that the IVA advice Bureau had done so much work up to that point and they were genuinely only interested in me taking the right course of action for me. The people I spoke to Melanie Nicholas, Melanie Giles, Susan Clay and Tom Doster were absolutely fantastic, made me feel comfortable and I felt had a genuine desire to help. All in all I'd thoroughly recommend them to everyone.
Sorry you had to go BR rather than an IVA, but what a fantastic recommendation for Melanie and her team and I am sure they will be over the moon with your comments.

Glad you made the right decision, and your case is a good one to illustrate the fact that it is never too late to pull out if you change your mind.
I am very grateful for your kind comments, and if we can help at all in any other way you know where we are! Good luck with the bankruptcy application, and make sure you let us know how you get on.
