Finally got the long awaited phone call this morning to say that all our creditors agreed the IVA subject to a few modifications - luckily they didn't want any more money just a few more condidtions and asked for ClearStarts fees to be reduced, which they happily did. Am just so relieved that we might start to enjoy life a bit more instead of dreading the postman and the phone ringing.

On the down side my husband did loose his job today, but will be down the agency 9.00 tomorrow morning to start something just to get some money to ensure our payments are met.

Well hubby has got a new job -starts Monday so thats a relieve, it is also closer to home and also a bit more money, will have to let ClearStart know with also the opportunity for overtime so all is looking up.

We haven't had all the paperwork through from ClearStart yet (meeting was last wed, and todays Sunday) but if it doesn't arrive tomorrow I'll give them a ring. Otherwise Rachell, they have been great - just check through some of the text they send back about how you got into the debt as they did get our dates and a few other details a bit mixed up.

I just hope this 5 years goes as quick as the last to be back on our feet and then we can start saving for a new kitchen! I know I shouldn't wish the 5 years away but its hard not too sometimes, but at least I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and another child is a possibility now not just a dream!

Great news about the job. See how things suddenly start to look better. I think we all wish these five years to be over but so far they are a definate improvement on the last five.

Congrats from me too! Yes the dreaded 5 years as Ang says and I agree that the previous 5 years were really a worse nightmare with all the horrible debts looming and where is it going to end!! but at least now you can see a light at the end of the tunnel although it will be a different type of stress trying to cope.
