Hi

bascially i have had an iva for 4 years and a month and due to finish next august.

But 10 years ago i took out a 10 year savers plan which when i got into debt i transfered to my moms acount and she paid it save wasting what ever i had allready paid into it.

The savers plan is in my name still as we could not change that but it comes up in november and the cheque will be sent to me, in my name.

I know i have no right to this money as it is not mine but will the IVA people see diferently or can i hide it away and transfer it across to my mom.

Just bit worried as i compltly forgot about this and dont want them to refer my iva or somthing over somthing i completly forgot about.

Thanks all

Hi
The right thing to do is to declare it to your IP and pay it into your IVA,less the payments that your mother has made.

sorry to be funny but as its in my name wont they want all of it as i could say i paid one month and she paid the rest.

Do they actually check on stuff paid into your account, as i have only had to provide bank statements when i started.

Thanks

If your mother can demonstrate that she has paid into this scheme, she will be allowed to retain that portion of the money.
