Since starting IVA 3 months ago I've had problems with verfying my identity. Problems opening savings account, building society couldn't verify my identity (despite having mortgage with them), pre paid credit card, again company couldn't verify my identity (despite having pension plan with them). Have an isa account with a court order preventing access( only £1 in the account, they are not one of my creditors). Why is this happening, my husband also as an IVA but none of these problems. What can I do to recitify the situation. Have checked my credit report with experian, most of my debts don't appear to be listed, and I apparently settled a credit card debt 3 weeks before IVA agreed, don't knowe anything about this card.
Any ideas please....

The IVA will not have affected your ability to verify your identity - are there any other factors such as recent marriage, house move which may be affecting you?

The main one for electronic validation is votors roll so double check you are showing on that....however if you are not on that the system uses profiling credit at the address.

The latter may be why you have a problem if you are not on votors.

Hope this helps
