Hi I am seriously considering bankcruptcy. I am at present paying £150 monthly to an IVA type company and really struggling. Would my payments to the court for the 36 month period be any more or less?

Likely to be much less, if £150 is fairly representative of your disposable income. I would work on about 50% of that under bankruptcy proceedings.

Can I ask why you felt an IVA was an appropriate solution for you with such low disposable income? Did the company you are using suggest this?
