Hi,

You should not have falsified figures to get your IVA through.

You should be paying back as much as you can to your creditors, as we all are on here.

We will not be advising you on how to hide anything.

I believe it is a criminal offence to falsify an IVA and a stupid totally dishonest thing to have done. Glad Kallis3 is being so firm.J

Sorry, but an IVA is about paying back as much to your creditors as you can. No one should hide anything when they go into this.

If your IP finds out about this, as presumably you have to supply an I&E and payslips, they can fail your IVA. If this happens then you will be back to square one. You could try for another IVA or you could do bankruptcy.

Be aware though that official receiver will look into your accounts a lot deeper than an IP will.

Some IP's ask for bank statements at the yearly review.

Mark - if you want to avoid paying your creditors, I wonder why you were ever in an IVA in the first place! And your IP cannot be doing a great job if you are managing to hide a substantial amount of your earnings.

No one on this forum will tell you how to hide things from your IP. If you didn't want to pay back as much as possible to your creditors why did you bother with an IVA instead of BR?

If he had gone BR he wouldn't have been able to hide anything at all.

Can't be doing with people who are not honest with their IVA.

I think you are in the wrong place by posting on this forum - and you need to be careful because your IP will probably be reading this and it would not take too much detective work to identify you.

If you are not paying certain areas of expenditure, then you are duty bound to declare that to your IP along with the reasons why.

Strange,, couldnt get the jist of it because he deleted threads,,but what was he trying to do,,hide income? Seems to me that honesty is the best policy when setting up an IVA & also it can jeopadise your relationship with your IP if you are dishonest.which I believe needs to be good.
We have everything crossed in hope that our IVA goes through,, seems to have been ages since we started the process. Just dont want debt anymore,, it has cost us over the years,, at 47 with 2 grown up children my wife & I should be in a comfortable position,, but it seems harder now than it was when the children were young,, is it just the cost of living nowadays,, I just dont know,, sorry for the rant,, just a little low at the min.
