You're so right am just sat at work in a bit of a daze now to be honest, its been such a weight on my mind - my worst fear was being made bankrupt and losing my job I've spent 10 years working my way up in but now thats all gone.

Thank you and everyone else so much for your comments.

Well done to both of you.
There seems to be a high success rate from people posting on this forum and I hope that it is due,in a small part,to the experiences and questions that they have read about and asked on this site.

FANTASTIC!

I am so pleased for you! Is there that HUGE smile(the one that gives you jaw ache...!)on your face that just won't go away now!?!?

Just remember if you have any problems or can offer other people assistance keep posting on here!

Real life experience is sometimes a better help than what we advise because although we deal with debtors everyday, it is impossible for me to say I know how you feel, which for most people in debt is a crucial thing...the "If she can do it so can I" thought can really make some people get their head out of the sand and do something.

I am so happy for you!!!!!

Congratulations!

P.s. You can have a nice peaceful sleep tonight now!!

I certainly intend to keep posting on here. This site has been a Godsend in keeping my spirits up. I feel a bit guilty that ours went through so smoothly now.
We have been considering this for the last 12 months though but all the companies we dealt with said we wouldn't qualify. We had more or less given up hope and were considering bankruptcy as we felt we just couldn't continue as we were. My worry was that even if we scrimped to make the payments we would only be paying the minimum payments and as I am late 40's would still be paying them when we were in our 60's a depressing thought !!! Also our payments monthly were £1350 and who knows if we would be able to raise that sort of money in our 60's what if one of us was to become ill. We knew drastic action had to be taken the stress of us becoming bankrupt in our 60's could make us ill.

Then just before Xmas we rang a company that took us on straight away. I was still filled with pessimism that it wouldn't work for us but was pleasantly surprised at the result.
