Hi everyone
Just wanted to update on our creditors meeting today. As you can see we have been approved today for our IVA. Can't believe the relief. Have felt sick all weekend but it feels like a weight has just lifted. I know this is just the start and theres bound to be problems as we go along but really feel this is a new beginning and a chance to get our lives back in to some semblance of order and knowing ur all here for advice and support really . Thankyou all so much for the brilliant work you do cause i don't know how id have got through the last 2 months if i hadn't found this site.
We only had 1 creditor who didn't accept the IVA and they were Santander but obviously they were outvoted by the major creditors and BE said they expected this from them anyway because Santander don't like IVA's. Anyway sorry for the ramblings but am that happy i could go on forever. Will drop by every couple of days or so to see whats going on cause iv'e got a feeling i'm gonna need you all over the next 5 years. Many Thanks again

Congratulations hopeful, I know exactly how you feel my creditors meeting was on the 21st July, it certainly feels like a great weight has been lifted for sure.

I agree there will be hard times ahead but for me it would have been twice as hard trying to pay credit with credit so to speak.

Very well done to you and B E, they are my company also, they have served me very well so far full credit to their excellent team.

Break open the drink and enjoy a little light refief [:D]

Thanks for your kind words banjo and i must agree that BE haven't put a foot wrong with us. I was a bit worried after reading some of the posts on here but i can honestly sat they've done a great job with us so credit where credits due. Might treat myself to an extra large diet coke though because i don't really drink that much but thanks again.
Take Care

Congratulations to you. I am getting a bit worried as it seems like all our creditors don't seem to like IVA's according to the posts I have read. Getting a bit scared now that they are just going to reject. Mbna, Santander and northern rock are all on our list.

When they don't bother to vote does that count as a yes then?

Congratualtions Hopeful on your IVA. I hope if mine is approved I have the same relief.

I might or might not have Santander on my list as they are trying for other things (Charging Order I think) who knows what they want.

I have MBNA & Northern Rock on my list NR were b*****s at 1st but as time went on they came around and MBNA have been really good.

Enjoy your Diet Coke Hopeful and keep posting
