Well ive been fairly relaxed up to today, because we had our creditors meeting this morning!!

I think i was relaxed up to this point because in our hearts we knew we were very honest with the budget, we were putting foward so it was wait for the call.

Well this afternoon we were told it was approved and gone through, only modifications was to the costs for running it which would not effect us.Our budget was not even questioned and we felt it was a budget our family could live off, because if you cannot survive on it,it aint gonna work!!

A couple of creditors did not vote ie MBNA which surprised us as they were owed the bulk of the debts.

we would like to thank the CCCSVA for all their help and advice and i will try and keep updates on how we get on.
Would also like to thank loads of people on this site for all their answers to my questions and wish everybody else who maybe starting this journey all the very best.[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Good news....Well done!
You're now on the right road....It's such a relief when it's granted isn't it?

Just caught up with this - many congratulations. You'll be surprised how easy it is to manage on a budget and that great feeling when you have money left at the end of the month.

Congrats baldy...And good luck with the budgeting, I`m finding it a bit of a task to be honest.

Hey thanks everybody, for your kind words. Im looking foward to getting into the habit of running to the budget and not putting even the shopping on a credit card.

We are lucky in that ive got a good job to help us along the way.

Its really good to know that if i come up against any problems i can just run it by everybody on the forum to make sure im going in the right direction!

Will be making our first payment on the 1st DEC so i will be happy once i get a few months under our belt.

I know i always say I but im refering to me and my lovely wife!

Anyway once again thanks everybody and look foward to the next 5-6 years. At least you know there is a light at the end of the tunnell now.[:)]

Thanks Baldy & Family.

Baldy, I'm the same. I mostly refer to myself but it includes my hubby as well.

We're always here if you have any questions or just need a bit of support.
