Hi, Just to let you all know that my IVA has been approved....so happy. Detail as follows:
Total Debt 118000
Yes votes: Barclaycard 15000, lloyds TSB 13000, MBNA 18000
HSBC 7500, Royal Bank of Scotland 25000, Cahoot 1400, Direct line 1600.

No Votes : HFC(Benefecial) 7500

Following didn't bother to vote:
Coop bank (SMILE) 10000, Black Horse 4700, Golgfish 3500, EGG 4500 and American Express 3700.
I will be paying Approx 25p/£

Hi second chance and welcome to the forum.
Great news on the acceptance of your iva and a yes vote from hsbc although they held a lesser percentage. I bet you feel relieved. I hope this adds to your xmas being that bit better knowing the debts are under control and no bills. Its is strange to have to manage without credit, but if you read a lot of the posts you will see people feel so much more in control, and manage, but with a little pride as well rather than that deep seated guilt I know I used to feel every time I used the credit card. All the best.

Great news and good to see a 25p dividend accepted,especially good to see HSBC accept 25p as they have a well known hurdle rate of 40p.

Hello All,
Thank you for all your good wishes...definetly the best Xmass present ever.Although, I have recently registered I have been reading a lot of useful information and advice on this forum.
I used Thomas Charles, they were very good.
To answer Andy's question, I jointly owened the propertry with my wife and I will have to release my share of the equity after four years...I do not have much equity at the moment and based on the calculations I won't be paying much more than 25p/£.
I was really worried about HSBC and MBNA...thankfully they said yes.

Interesting to see HSBC accepting a lower dividend, perhaps because they knew that they had not influencing vote?
