Just wondering if anybody could say how long it usually takes for the creditors meeting to place after your proposals have been send back to your IP are we talking weeks?

I guess its different in every case but just wanted a very rough guide?

Hi there
I think about 4 weeks, as you say it can vary but the creditors have to be given time to consider.

Hi Stoney Broke
Even though we have a date for our meeting less than 8 weeks after the initial call to our IP, the wait has still been horrendous.
We are so looking forward to moving on with life!

The whole process usually takes 4 - 8 weeks in total but this can vary from case to case.

As already mentioned it does vary on the case, as each case is different and individual. Usually 4-8 weeks from the start of the IVA process to the end is a good time frame.

Hello Stoney,

The whole process usually takes 4 - 8 weeks so hopefully not long to go now.

Good luck for the 13th Dorset.

That's good news stoney that you now have a date, lets hope we both get the news that we want, have booked the day off work and meeting is at 1pm so going to be a long morning I think!

I feel slightly better now that I have a date, only just over two weeks for both of us before our meetings now!

Fingers crossed and good luck for you stoney.
