Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

sure will, just been making a couple of calls to cash in a couple of endownment policies for the IVA plus EON as me and my other half are both named so got a payment card on the way so we can pay the outstanding debt, wish i'd taken his name off the account then at least we wouldn't have to pay it!

I'm so happy!!!!

Great to hear that your IVA was approved RooRoo....well done and you can hopefully now have a more relaxed Xmas.
I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it left!

Hi Sue

Yep sure will be making this journey together, i made my first payment on Monday, i asked for a months grace as we had to get the car service and MOT'd last week and we have car tax at the end of this month, but IP declined this as she has allocated us childcare for 4 days a week and only using part of this at the mo! Guess we can't complain eh! He's to a brighter and debt free future for us all eh

Congrats RooRoo,
I've just started on the path too. 1 payment down and 59 to go.
I feel a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders and can sleep again. I have found the first few weeks a bit hard though setting a new bank account up and just leaving my pay alone for 3 weeks to build up enough funds. This week is draw week and can have some spends (yes!).

Hope it goes well for you.... Debt free coming soon....
