Was looking through the list and I just wondered how comes some people's Bankruptcy lasts for several years and others only have 12 months. I always thought a Bankruptcy order would last 5-7 years.

Bankruptcy generally lasts for 1 year, unless the person is made subject to a bankruptcy restriction order which can last up to 15 years. These are only given if the person has been dishonest or something like that, and the more severe the offence the longer the BRO.
