Poland - unless you pay 100% debt and fees etc back - it is the creditors that pay the fees and previous VAT - hence this will go back to creditors
As for undeclared windfall - if found out you risk failing the IVA - even at the late stage - or the IVA may remain opened to accept windfall funds, you are not finished with the IVA until it is deemed closed and certificate issued , you remain bound to the terms and conditions of the IVA until then

Ginger - I rather think that Poland has deleted his post as I can't find it anywhere so it does mean that nobody knows what you have replied to!!!!

Perhaps she didnt like the answer - it was about not declaring windfalls during the 4th year of the IVA - and what could happen if the IVA company found out. The poster had however made last payment but still awaiting the file closure and completetion certificate.
it was also whether the VAT refund would go to client/IVA company or creditors

It was appreciated ginger, nothing worse than not knowing what the original question was.

None at the moment - I am sure that the IP's will be in touch as soon as there is something to report.

It will be a while before this issue is resolved and in the meanwhile it is down to individual IPs at to how they deal with closing cases. Some are continuing to do so and others are following the advice of the regulators to the letter.
Frustrating for those who have finished and are waiting, but it is good news regarding the inheritance and windfall agreement..... At least we can honestly win the lottery now and claim our millions !

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !

And what about yourselves? are you completing? or holding fire?
The wait to officially complete is unsettling, but you have done the hard part now and the advice Mel got from her legal advisor should provide some comfort.
Congratulations on getting this far! You're on the home run now x
I be3lieve both Melanie and GT have resumed closing cases.

if i run the lottery i would not give a jot what time they took.what a complete mess you would have thought that they could sort it out after issuing certificates as they have all the paperwork relating to your case.
