Oh im sorry Facingittogether if I have worried you as I know just how chewed up you must now be feeling about it.
I have heard gossip (see its shocking in my office!!!) of one person going Bankrupt and one person getting an IVA and they still work there. Also the girl with the IVA definately has one as I put her name in that register thing you get access to via this website and she appeared.
I think I am more worried about it going to my office for all the gossipmongers to feed on.

In answer to your question I can see some bod trawling through the lists as I used to do it and then send reports off to Departments for their investigation and appropriate action!!!

Actually now you say that we received a memo not long ago about sending our personal info to DWP to ensure people were not working and claiming benefits. Caused a bit of an uproar but went ahead anyway. I don't work for HMRC though.

so pixieboy - i really did not think that would be the case, but it obviously is, so is it the insolvency register that you got the info from and do you think we should tell them?

thanks for your advice

I havent worked for HMRC for a long time and I am sure things have changed since my day. Personally I would not tell HR anything they do not need to know but you need to consider your own circumstances.

Why don't you wait to see what happens to me!!!
I will post if work contct me about the IVA after they receive the letter. If you havent said anything yet another couple of weeks will not cause any harm and its best not to say anything if you dont have to.
