Johnathon,

If you are stuck for what to have tattooed , how about IVA COMPLETED?. Only joking, but i am pleased for you, mine finished a few days ago, and i have that grin as well. I am not bothered when i get the completion cert, i am just glad to have stopped paying out.

Good luck for the future as well.

Regards.........Howard

PS is it just me imagining it or are most of the top posters female?. Not that i am complaining, the fairer sex and all that.

All the best

Thanks again Jan and Ta Howard that would shock everyone with a tattoo about the IVA,I think the shock on peoples faces would be priceless!
Thanks to everyone who has posted replies and allowed me to go on a bit I've really enjoyed this opportunity to chat. It's been the only time I've felt comfortable talking to others about the IVA.

They wouldn't know what you'd got on there! I wonder if there is the equivalent in Japanese writing?

Chat away all you like - there is usually someone on here.

Ronald - we women are the best, as reflected in the top postings!

Mine did not hurt at all - I thought it would but it was painless. Not bad considering it is on my ankle!

I know Jan the problem is there are that many fantastic tattoos out there and it's being certain that you choose the right one.
Julie the pain isn't as bad as some say,but it depends where you get it.The Japanese one I have is on the outside of my upper arm and strangely felt plesent,my childrens names are on the inside of my upper arm and felt like a constant bee sting, not too clever.
Problem is that didn't put me off!

Depends on what you have. I had mine done ten years ago, it is in colour and is a reasonable size and it cost £50.

They can be.Mostly the better the tattoo artist the more expensive they are which is fair enough really. One in York charges £70 an hour, needless to say I haven't been there!
