thanks again.[:D]

I have sent the letter recorded delivery so they will receive tomorrow - the IP knows to expect it...lets hope that they deal with it quickly and it's accepted!

Just to update you, the variations team have received and said it seems a reasonable offer and have sent it to our supervisor...we should hopefully be receiving a draft of our proposal to sign and return to them shortly.

Hi Jelly bug . It may take a little while to organise your F and F as your IP will need to get final figures from all your creditors.

Your sister in law will have to prove she has the money AND send in a copy of her ID under money laundering regulations !

just an update...we have now received the draft F+F settlement propsal, have signed it and sent it back. It looks good on paper so we just wait now to hear of the meeting date I guess! Is there anything else that will be happening at all?
In terms of the funding for the f+f my dad is now lending us and he has had to write in to the IP to say that he has the money and will be paying it for us.

Just sit tight and wait - presumably the meeting of creditors is going to be held within the next month?

Hiya, Just wanted to check something with you very knowledgable people!...I signed our draft variation for our f&f and sent it back about a week ago. I phoned the company we are dealing with just to see if a date had been arranged as yet. I was told that the IP had to sign it first and he 'should' be in sometime next week?!

After it is signed they will then arrange a meeting date.

I think I am just so stressed and want to get all this sorted asap, that I am miffed it is taking a while for them to even get it signed and make arrangements on their end?

Variations do perhaps take a little longer to arrange than you might expect - and IPs are very busy people, but I am sure this will be finalised shortly for you. Curious that you have been asked to review the documents before the IP though!

Meeting was today and after many many phone calls after the meeting time, I've been told that they have all the votes in and all accepted the offer. The only thing I am unsure on is that my IP is waiting for letters of debts? Could anyone enlighten me as to what this is and do I take it that the offer has now been fully accepted?

Well done on that good news, and I assume that your IP is waiting for some proof of debts from the creditors to confirm the amounts due to them - which is curious as this work should be done prior to the calling of a variation meeting.
