I know, I only found it on mine just before Christmas as I didn't realise that's what they do! And to add insult to injury the notice of correction said it was requested by me!

If you don't have any joy give them a call on this number - 0870 240 1170. It's a UK call centre and, providing you have logged the question on the ask page they should action it there and then.

Equifax are the worst of the 3 credit agencies. There is a default on my credit file dated 6th January 2007 and they STILL haven't updated my file to remove it!

They seem to be the worse for sure, it's annoying because there actions / mistakes have such a knock on affect for people and they dont care. And who's bringing these companies to task

alls well that end well lee

equifax did the same with me !! they told me last week they would take it off so hopefully when my reports upated , like yours. Experian still havnt removed the IVA record from my report with them even though the insolvency service have removed me

theres one thing for sure, during and after the IVA journey, we become wiser & stronger; it really is a battle of wits , initiative and investigative work along the way

best wishes all

you are right in your last comment it is a journey, the frustrating thing for me was that once I had finished my IVA debt free direct were shocking with aftercare, they sent me no infomation about the next steps to take all the who, where, what questions. it was simply we no longer represent you so it's down to you, there should be some kind of pack that get sent out detailing your next steps if they did most of the people on this forum would have had an easier journy I am sure.

I finished my IVA in June 2012 after meeting conditions of a F anf have had a few issues
Insovency Exchange never informed my creditors or paid the F and F in October so issues with RBS ,More and AA eventually those sorted.
Then got a Vanquish card and have that for 4 months paid it off religously, then also got passed for an Aqua Cardalthough i dont need it both cards have a £500 limit.
I then decided that I needed to try and get back into the Banking Main stream.
So I went Santander and tried there 321 current account, plus there savings account unbeleivable I passed so looks like I am really on my way back.
Only in my IVA for 3 years and looks like my credit file is coming back together.
is a lovely feeling being debt free so its worth the fight and those dark days when you think how the hell am I going to pay that and as previous people have said when you have had to live with in an IVA you know that you are not going back.
