My IVA completed last October/November and I still have not recieved anything since it finished from the IP firm had a letter from them 3 months before my last payment to say they would not issue for a further 2 years as per the contract is this normal? Have tried to mail them but no response I iwll try and call them but was just curious if this was a standard approach - Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Which company are you with? It may be that they are still sorting out all the loose ends but do agree that you should contact them and try to sort this out.

If you get no joy with the office staff then try emailing your IP directly via this link:

There is something seriously wrong here. When you say you completed your IVA, was it a five year repayment term or shorter?

The company is tenon (I think as the company has changed a few times over the 5 year period) and it was for 5 years and the last payment was made back in October of last year and I have not recieved anything from the IVA company not even a yearly summary. Have left it as I assumed it would just get sorted out as my credit report stated that the completion date was for this November so worked on the basis that it woul dbe dealt with at that point, will contact the company this week tricky with work but feel it needs to be sorted out and to be far surley a year is more than enough time to complete the file and monies etc

Have you checked the insolvency register to see if you are still on there?

Send your IP an email directly via this link:

Hopefully he/she can get something sorted out.

I agree. If there is a completion date on the credit report, have you also checked the Insolvency Register? I'm guessing that if the CRA has marked the IVA as completed then it will not show up on the IVA register.

If that is the case I'd contact your IP and ask for a copy of the final report to creditors and the certificate of completion as it looks like it may have either gone missing in the post or was not been sent to you for some reason.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.
