Iva completed march 2013 have been advised by GT that will not receive completion certificate until Jan/Feb 2014. Is there anything I can do to speed this up I was hoping to change my car early next year. Can't see how I can until this is finalised. Any advice please?

The advice that everyone seems to give in relation to this matter is simply to keep on hassling the company with phone calls and emails urging them to get on with it, I think a few people have had positive results that way. It may well depend if PPI is involved ot not. Sorry that I cannot be more helpful or constructive.......
Last monthly payment made 3 June 2013 after 6 long years. CC issued 21 August 2013, but, er, lost in the post. Finally got it 17 September.

You're lucky you've been given a date!!! On the numerous occasions I've asked for timescale, I've been told that they don't give one, as they don't know how long things will take!!! They have us over a barrel sadly & unless we all bombard them with e-mails there's nothing they will do. What is frustrating the most is that they continue to take on new cases, be it their own or "bought in" when they clearly can't even deal with the ones they already have.
