IVA could be the best thing for me

What happens if i have got to the point where i know an IVA could be the best thing for me to do but i am between job (currently looking)? Also when i do get a new job how will they pay me if i do not have a bank account? thanks

Hey Peter, welcome to the forum. An expert will be along to advise you. You will need steady employment to be able to propose an IVA so this might not be an option for you. Even in an IVA, you will still have a bank account, just as long as you don't bank with any of your creditors. Hang in there and someone will advise you. Viki X

There is no harm in taking advice now as to your options, but you will need to be in full time employement and I would need to see three clear months of salary having been earned and you past your probationary period if you were a potential client of mine. Other IPs may have different views.
