Hi does anybody know the IVA Council?

Who are this people that ask for one to stop the IVA payments and then ask for money?

How come that they can do this process and there is no law enforcement against them?

My understanding is that they are a bunch of crooks? Is this true? Has anybody come across this IVA Council?

Melanie

Did this lot ever do you the courtesy of returning your call?

The reason why I ask is that a wave of our clients appeared to receive their letters over the weekend and, despite what they said on this forum, the letters continued to recommend that payments in to the IVA were suspended.

I understand from a colleague that they have actually been writing thses letters since much earlier in the year and that we submitted a formal complaint to the Insolvency Service several months ago If so,if the wheels of regulation are turning, they seem to be doing so very slowly as far as the IVA Council is concerned.

Asked the clients to send in. When I get one, I'll do so.

Thanks

I can scan one of mine to you tomorrow Andy and will do so. And Catullus, I am anxiously awaiting my call to be returned by Mr Barker, although I am sure he is a very busy man at the moment! I will try again tomorrow.

Tried again today - their call centre staff don't even know if Mr Barker exists, or whether anyone else works in the company. They pass messages on by e-mail or text message, yet could not give me those details.

Mr Barker wherever you are - please return my calls!

I'm sure I had one from them - the ironic thing was I'd already gone BR!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Skippy - are you still showing on the IVA register because your case has not yet been closed?

Hi Melanie
I spoke to journalist today who had contacted them. She was waiting for a call back, the same as you, however it wasn't a Mr Barker.
The person involved in this company is also involved in a bankruptcy service where they will "hold you hand" for a tidy sum.............something we've debated on this forum some months ago
Doesn't take alot of thinking to put two and two together and see what their real motives are.

I asked a member of my team to scan the letter to you today, so hope that you received it. These people need stamping out of the debt marketplace, as it is firms like this which give our services a bad name, and not IPs alleged mis-selling of IVAs.

I will bring a copy with me tomorrow. Seems that these are still trickling throught to clients, wonder who is behind the funding of this outfit, as their postage and stationery bill must be huge!
